South America

Privileged with outstanding natural beauty, the extraordinarily diverse landscapes of Chile and Argentina amaze with towering mountain ranges, extreme deserts, and seemingly endless coastlines. Up until recent years, the vines nurtured on these high-altitude plains and verdant valleys were cultivated only for domestic wine consumption. Luckily, a collective hunger for quality in the latter half of the 20th century increased international demand for the region’s inimitable vivacious red and crisp white wines. Today, Argentina and Chile rank among the top 10 wine-producing nations with extraordinary ranking in international wine communities.
