MISA Imports is proud to announce the addition of the prestigious and iconic Champagne Barons de Rothschild to its French portfolio.

Effective October 2019, MISA became the exclusive U.S. importer for all products within the Champagne Barons de Rothschild range – including the exclusive Ritz Cuvée for the Ritz-Carlton, and is responsible for all sales and marketing activities within the United States.

Named after founder Sam Assaad’s two children, Michael and Sarah, MISA Imports was built upon the belief that our suppliers and our customers are like family. Family is also the inspiration behind Champagne Barons de Rothschild. The three branches of the Rothschild family have allied forces with Champagne families whose life’s work has been to create outstanding products. The Rothschilds have pulled together the best terroirs and have added their exclusive savoir-faire, resulting in a true reference.
On having been selected by Champagne Barons de Rothschild brand, MISA Founder Sam Assaad stated “We are extremely proud to have been entrusted with such an honored brand as Rothschild. We have built MISA upon our commitment to the time honored traditions of Bordeaux and are proud and delighted to extend that commitment and expertise to this new and exciting partnership.”

The exclusive Champagne Barons de Rothschild, produced from the finest terroirs of Champagne, creates a marriage of the highest order for which both names are so renowned. Famous for over 160 years in the world of fine wines, the Rothschild family has always combined an appreciation of excellence with a passion for breaking new ground and a reputation for the highest expertise. Following in the house’s footsteps, Champagne Barons de Rothschild is now recognized as one of the most exceptionally demanding producers of fine Champagne.

The global pandemic is affecting all of our families, businesses and communities. During this time however, we wish to communicate MISA’s continued service, and share some of the measures that have taken place. As part of MISA’s commitment to the health and well-being of our entire community, we want you to be aware of the steps we are taking to protect our employees and to minimize any disruption to business.

First and foremost, for all those who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, our hearts go out to you. We sincerely hope the recent actions yield the desired results and stop the spread. As with any business, protecting our team members and minimizing the adverse impact to our operations and customers is the heart of our plans. Hence, our crisis management team is swiftly establishing and implementing enhanced internal measures that enable a safe work environment whilst diligently servicing our customers.

Though no plan can guarantee uninterrupted service, our plan thus far has allowed us to maintain continuity of operations. Our efforts since March 13th have so far safeguarded our people and enabled us to serve our customers in all locations.
