Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, result-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing organization. MISA is seeking someone to challenge the status quo and bring creative solutions to the table. In this is responsible for performing general bookkeeping, preparing and analyzing budgets, maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers.

Responsibilities:

  • Books daily bank entries and transfers into NetSuite, our accounting system for the cash accounts
  • Performs daily reconciliation of the general and EFT cash accounts
  • Reviews general ledger accounts and prepares and adjusts journal entries
  • Performs monthly reconciliations; depository cash account, accrued supplier tactical accounts, and AP accrual
  • Prepares and adjusts journal entries
  • Posts monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals
  • Performs weekly reconciliation of the TABC and all other AR accounts
  • Posts vendor bills in NetSuite and on the custom AP Aging Detail report

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • 1 year of Accounting experience
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel) experience
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • NetSuite experience is preferred
